IMP Originals, founded in 1946, is a children’s clothing company with a reputation as a respected brand distributing to Department Stores and Specialty stores throughout the United States. The styling was originally classic dress clothing for boys and catered to traditional tastes. IMP has expanded its product offerings over the years to include a collection of classic sportswear for boys and the addition of the IMP for Girls Too

In 2006, IMP introduced ZAK a collection of fashion forward coordinated separates for boys. The collection takes it fashion direction from the European market by using more menswear fabrications and body styles. The IMP name has always been synonymous with quality, on time shipping and outstanding customer service.

Awards: IMP Originals received its ninth EARNIE award for Excellence in Design in 2007. This is the third year in a row that IMP has received this award which is voted on by leading retailers across the United States.
